This is a 20/10 interval workout where you are constantly switching back and forth between periods of 20 seconds at a pace that is 2-3x faster than walking (ideally, you want to work up to an all out run) vs. jumping off to the sides and resting on the treadmill for 10 seconds.  You will repeat this cycle for at least 20 mins.


How to increase the level of difficulty;

  • Increase the incline by .50% after each cycle and/or
  • Perform fast pace for 30 secs vs. 20 and/or
  • Increase the pace to 4-5x faster than walking
