Q: I was wondering why I work out every day and don't eat but three times a day and still can't lose weight. I have been 215lbs at 5'4 for the past six years, and I can't take it anymore.  I put on fifteen pounds in three months after I started exercising! What am I doing wrong?  I need help - Depressed Mom.

A: It’s hard to say exactly why you may not be losing weight without working with you individually.  It has been found that most people who are exercising but not losing weight are usually not training in their cardiovascular zone and/or consuming too many or too few calories. There is a very good article in the GENERAL section of our knowledge base that lists the 20 reasons why you are not losing weight - give this a read and see if any of the reasons listed pertain to you.
